In order to schedule an appointment and give us the information needed for the session, all clients must provide their contact information, including their email address and telephone number.
We use your phone number and email address to send you important information about your scheduled appointments, therefore it is necessary that you provide us with accurate information.
A consultation form must be filled out by every client prior to their appointment.
We only collect data necessary for us to carry out the requested services.
The personal data that we collect includes (but is not limited to):
- Names
- Home address
- Email Address
- Date of Birth
- Phone number
- Health information
We require health data in order to safely and accurately carry out the agreed-upon services, to help identify areas where goods and services might present health risks to customers, to assure a safe service and to offer guidance in line with industry norms.
We retain personal information and client records as required by law and to comply with our insurance policy.
All data is handled with confidentiality and kept in compliance with data protection laws. We do not share patient information with third parties, except where legally required to do so or in order to provide services.
We may send information, promotions or offers that may be relevant to you. You can unsubscribe and opt out from these promotional campaigns at any point.
Refund policy
Services
All our services are non-refundable. However, if you find yourself dissatisfied with any service, we invite you to reach out to us within five days. We kindly request your understanding that, in such situations, we are unable to offer refunds. However, please be assured that we are fully committed to ensuring your satisfaction and will make every effort to meet your expectations. Your happiness is our priority.
Deposits
It is important to note that all deposits, whether made online or in-store, are non-refundable. These deposits secure your appointment and are applied to the total service cost. Regardless of when a cancellation occurs, we do not issue refunds or transferring ie. cannot be used to reschedule or future bookings.
These deposits are strictly applied to the original booking!
Cancellations
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment will result in the full loss of the deposit. Non-arrival without 48-hour notice is also considered a cancellation, leading to the forfeiture of the deposit.
Rescheduling
Appointments cannot be rescheduled within 48 hours of the original booking time. Any rescheduling requests made within this 48-hour period will result in the loss of the deposit.
Late Arrival Policy
If you find yourself running more than ten minutes late, we might not be able to provide the complete service or even impossible. In such situations, the appointment is categorized as a ‘no-show’ and will result in deposit loss.
We kindly request that you aim to arrive five to ten minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to ensure we have sufficient time to complete any necessary paperwork.
Change of Mind Policy
Ensure that you select the correct treatment when making your appointment. If you wish to change to a treatment of lesser value, requests made with less than 48 hours notice will not be accepted, and you will be charged the full value of the original booking.
Adding Services
If you wish to add additional services to your original booking, please note this can only be accommodated if our staff has sufficient time available. Requests for additional treatments made on short notice or upon arrival are not guaranteed.
Booking Accuracy
Bookings can be changed online 48 hours prior, all the above applies.
Please ensure that you book the correct treatment when scheduling your appointment. If any changes or adjustments are needed within 48 hours of your appointment, all Terms & Conditions regarding deposits, cancellations, and rescheduling will apply without exception.
Repair/Adjustments
Should you find any cause for dissatisfaction, we kindly request that you promptly reach out to our Aesthete Beauty customer service team via our contact page. (Once we receive your enquiry, we will arrange to obtain any photographs or supporting material from yourself where necessary).
Where a correction, repair or adjustment is deemed necessary, this is possible within the initial three days following your service.
Please be aware that cash refunds are not offered; however, we are fully committed to addressing your satisfaction promptly. We value your trust and satisfaction. It is important to note that beyond this initial five-day window, additional charges may apply.
Nail Art Designs
French, ombré, art, and other detailed nail designs require extra time. To avoid disappointment, please add these services separately when booking. Any style beyond plain color or plain glitter is considered a nail art design. For more complicated looks or unsure contact us.
Nail Extensions
For long nail enhancements, please select the XL service (considered as more than half of the nail tip length applied).
Failure to book accordingly will result in applicable Terms & Conditions.
Patch Test Policy
At Aesthete Beauty, we hold your safety and well-being in the highest regard. To ensure the utmost care and protection, we have established a mandatory patch test procedure to be carried out 48 hours before certain treatments.
Before receiving treatments from Aesthete Beauty, it is essential to undergo a patch test if you haven’t completed one previously, if your booking history does not include the specified treatments in the last 6 months, or if there have been any changes in your medical history since your last session.
It is your responsibility to let us know, if there are any changes in your medical history since your last session.
Reservations made where a patch test is required but not received 48 hours before your treatment will result in cancellation and cancellation fees.
Minors
We do not offer any treatments to individuals under the age of 16. This policy is in place to ensure the suitability and safety of our treatments for all our clients.
Clients must be at least 18 years old to receive any aesthetic treatments including, but not limited to microneedling, micro-blading, semi-permanent makeup, and injectables.
Clients may be asked to present valid photographic identification to verify their age. Acceptable forms of ID include a driver’s license, passport, or any other government-issued identification card that includes a photo and date of birth.
Clients must comply with the above. Failure to meet these requirements results in a cancellation fee.
Smoking
Smoking including vaping is not allowed on the premises.
Pets
Due to hygiene concerns, we cannot permit pets inside the premises.
Children
For the health, safety, and comfort of all our clients, children under the age of 10 are not permitted within the salon premises at any time. Failure to comply with this policy will result in a cancellation fee.
Mobile Phones
Use of mobile phones at your appointment is likely to impact the result of your service.
Payment Methods
We accept all major debit & credit cards, bank transfers as well as cash.
Personal Belongings
Aesthete Beauty will not be held responsible for any personal belongings.
Client Relations Policy
Aesthete Beauty is committed to maintaining a respectful and safe environment. Any form of inappropriate behavior, bullying, racism or harassment is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply with this policy result in the refusal of treatment and cancellation fees to ensure the safety and comfort of all clients and staff.
Gift Vouchers & Block Treatment passes
Aesthete Beauty gift vouchers are redeemable against any salon treatment.
Our gift vouchers and block treatment passes are non-refundable. They are valid for a period of six months from the date of purchase. We regret that they cannot be accepted once they have reached their expiry date.
These vouchers and package cards are designed exclusively for availing our services and hold no cash value. They are not for sale, transfer, or exchange into cash.
Please understand that we are unable to provide refunds in cases of a change of mind or unforeseen circumstances.
The gift card number must be mentioned when making a reservation, and it must be brought with you to the appointment in order to be redeemed.
Gift voucher reservations are subject to our regular booking policies. In the event of a no-show, vouchers will be automatically redeemed.
Block Treatment passes have expiration periods based on the number of treatments they cover. For instance, a pass for 6 treatments will expire after 6 months from the purchase date, whereas a pass for 3 treatments will expire after 3 months from the purchase date.
Where you wish to cancel an appointment covered by a Block Treatment pass: If you cancel a pre-paid appointment within the 48-hour window or do not attend the appointment, the associated treatment will, unfortunately, be considered forfeited.
Kindly treat the gift vouchers like cash and keep it secured. Since Aesthete Beauty does not gather or keep track of personal information about Gift Card holders, Aesthete Beauty is unable to replace or return the value of a Gift Card that has been lost, stolen, or used without the holderspermission.
Gift vouchers issued by Aesthete Beauty, 76 Bell St. Dundee DD1 1HF, remain our property at all times.
Aesthete Beauty keeps the right to periodically update these terms and conditions without any notice.
Pain Management Guidelines
In line with the regulations governing beauty and aesthetics businesses, local councils now require clients to acquire and self-administer numbing creams. In accordance with current UK legislation on anaesthetics, legal options include EMLA, LMX-4, and Ametop. These numbing products should only be obtained directly by the user (yourself) under the guidance of a pharmacist.
Once purchased, clients should apply the cream themselves 30-60 minutes before their appointment. As part of our informed consent forms for treatments that may cause discomfort (such as micro-needling, micro-blading and injectables), clients will be requested to confirm that they have purchased and applied the anesthetic on their own or give consent for our practitioner to apply it, especially in cases where self-application is challenging.
Contraindications & Restrictions
In adherence to current regulations, we must obtain a doctor’s approval to perform specific treatments for clients with particular pre-existing conditions. If you have any of the following conditions, please ensure your GP signs the form prior to your appointment:
1. Haemophilia, blood clotting disorders, or conditions that necessitate blood-thinning medications (e.g., prescribed blood thinners, aspirin).
2. Heart conditions, angina, or blood pressure issues.
3. Allergies to treatment related products.
4. Skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, acne, rosacea, or dermatitis.
5. Diabetes or issues related to healing.
6. The possibility of pregnancy.
7. Epilepsy, a history of seizures, or susceptibility to fainting spells.
8. Cancer, skin tumours, melanoma or recent/during chemotherapy.
9. Photosensitive medications.
10. Recent surgery.
Or any other relevant health conditions or medications being taken.
It is important to openly share your medical history with your therapist, as it relates to your treatment and concerns regarding health and safety. Please be aware that Aesthete Beauty cannot assume responsibility for any withheld medical information.
Liability
Aesthete Beauty shall not be held liable, whether in contract, tort, or any other form, for any financial losses, including but not limited to loss of profits, or any other special, indirect, or consequential losses or damages that may arise from or be connected to the provision of goods and services to the client.
It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that they provide Aesthete Beauty with all relevant medical information before each treatment. Aesthete Beauty will not be responsible for any harm resulting from the client’s failure to disclose such details.
The client agrees to adhere to all instructions and recommendations provided by Aesthete Beauty, or on their behalf, concerning the care of the treated area. These terms of business do not exclude or limit Aesthete Beauty’s liability for cases of death or personal injury resulting from their negligence.

Please be aware that neglecting to adhere to these instructions may potentially impact your personal health, safety, and overall well-being, leading to a diminished duration of treatment benefits.
It is essential to note that Aesthete Beauty cannot accept responsibility for service breakdown resulting from poor client aftercare.
Other
Reaching the desired results may require multiple sessions, and we cannot assure a specific outcome.
Outcomes can vary from person to person, and we are dedicated to utilizing the most effective and current techniques to help you achieve the best possible result. However, it is essential to understand that we cannot provide absolute guarantees regarding the final outcome of any treatment. Your understanding of this is greatly appreciated.
