CLINICCARE Facial Dundee

Your skin hasn't been right for a while. It looks dull in the mirror, feels rough when you touch it, and nothing you put on it at home seems to make a lasting difference. You've bought the serums. You've tried the sheet masks from Boots. You've followed the skincare routines you've seen online. Some of it helped for a day. Most of it didn't change anything because the products can't get deep enough to do what your skin actually needs.

The CLINICCARE Facial is a professional cosmeceutical treatment that works inside the skin, not on the surface. It uses low molecular weight hyaluronic acid and Epidermal Growth Factor to penetrate into the deeper layers where cell regeneration happens. This isn't a spa facial with nice smells and a bit of moisturiser. It's a clinical treatment that changes what's happening in your skin at a structural level.

At Aesthete Beauty in Dundee, the CLINICCARE Facial is carried out by Radina Ignatova, a skincare professional with over 11 years of experience and qualifications in chemical peels, micro-needling, and professional facials. CLINICCARE Facial from £55. Book online any time or call us on 01382 217888.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a facial treatment at Aesthete, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for a truly indulgent experience. Radina was not only highly skilled but also incredibly knowledgeable about skincare. She took the time to assess my skin's needs and tailor the treatment accordingly. The facial itself was nothing short of transformative.

The Difference

What Makes CLINICCARE Different From a Standard Facial

Most facials you'll find in salons and spas use cosmetic-grade products. These products are designed to be safe for anyone to use without professional supervision, which means the active ingredients are at lower concentrations. They hydrate the surface, they smell nice, they feel pleasant. But they don't change what's happening deeper in the skin.

CLINICCARE is a cosmeceutical range. That's a step between cosmetic and pharmaceutical. The products contain active ingredients at professional-strength concentrations that can only be used by trained practitioners.

Three things make the difference:

Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid. Standard hyaluronic acid in shop-bought products uses large molecules that sit on the skin's surface. They hydrate the outer layer but can't penetrate further. CLINICCARE uses low molecular weight HA with molecules small enough to pass through the skin barrier and deliver hydration to the dermis. That's where your skin's structure, elasticity, and moisture balance are actually determined.

Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF). EGF is a protein that triggers cell regeneration. It tells your skin to produce new cells, generate its own hyaluronic acid, and build collagen. This isn't a cosmetic effect that washes off. It's a biological process that continues working after you leave the salon.

Professional-only formulation. You can't buy CLINICCARE products in shops or online for home use. They're supplied to qualified practitioners and formulated for professional application. The concentrations are higher, the delivery systems are more advanced, and the results are measurably different from anything you can achieve at home.

CLINICCARE products are vegan friendly and formulated from natural ingredients. No parabens, no SLS, no artificial fragrances. For a cosmeceutical product line that works at the concentrations CLINICCARE does, the ingredient profile is unusually clean. Radina chose the range specifically because the results match clinical-grade alternatives without the ingredient compromises.

Enjoyed my chemical face peel and felt I really noticed the difference in my skin. The beautician Radina is a lovely young lady and the surroundings reflect the treatment being given. A very bright modern salon. I would highly recommend.

Your Appointment

What to Expect at Your CLINICCARE Facial Appointment

All tools and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and hygienically prepared between every client. Fresh towels, sanitised surfaces, and a clean workspace are standard for every appointment.

The treatment takes around an hour and follows a clinical protocol designed to cleanse, treat, and protect your skin in layers.

The treatment room is a separate space from the nail area. Quiet, clean, no dust or chemical smells. Every facial uses fresh disposable applicators, cloths, and a sealed single-use EGF sheet mask, with extraction tools and brushes sterilised between clients and Radina in gloves throughout. CLINICCARE products are dispensed from sealed professional containers, not decanted into open pots.

First-time facial clients get a digital consultation form by email before the appointment. It covers your skin concerns, any conditions like rosacea or eczema, medications you're taking, and skincare products you use at home. Retinol is specifically asked about. It affects how your skin reacts to chemical exfoliation and Radina needs to know before she starts. She reads the form before you arrive so the skin assessment in the chair is focused rather than starting from scratch.

01

Skin assessment

Radina starts by looking at your skin properly. Not a quick glance. She examines your skin type, identifies specific concerns like dehydration, congestion, pigmentation, or fine lines, and decides which CLINICCARE products to use and how to tailor the treatment to what your skin needs today.

02

Deep cleanse

Your skin is cleansed with CLINICCARE Concentrated Cleansing Foam. This removes makeup, oil, pollution, and surface debris so the active ingredients in the next steps can actually reach your skin instead of sitting on top of dirt.

03

Chemical exfoliation

The CLINICCARE Instant Painless Peel is applied to dry skin. This dissolves dead skin cells and unclogs pores without any scrubbing or harsh physical exfoliation. It's left on for a couple of minutes, then massaged gently and removed. Your skin feels immediately smoother after this step.

04

EGF sheet mask

This is the core of the treatment. A CLINICCARE EGF sheet mask is applied and left on for around 30 minutes. The mask delivers Epidermal Growth Factor and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid directly into the skin. EGF stimulates cell regeneration and encourages your skin to produce its own hyaluronic acid and collagen. The low molecular weight HA penetrates into the deeper layers rather than just hydrating the surface.

05

Eye and lip care

The CLINICCARE Lip and Eye Renewal Cream is applied to the delicate skin around your eyes and lips. These areas age faster and need targeted care with ingredients formulated specifically for thinner, more sensitive skin.

06

SPF protection

The treatment finishes with CLINICCARE Sun Shield Cream (SPF30) to protect your freshly treated skin from UV damage. Your skin is more receptive after the facial, which means it's also more vulnerable to sun exposure. The SPF seals everything in and keeps it protected.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions About CLINICCARE Facials in Dundee

Q

What is a CLINICCARE Facial?

A professional cosmeceutical facial using CLINICCARE products from Sweden. The treatment includes deep cleansing, chemical exfoliation, a 30-minute EGF sheet mask, and targeted aftercare. It works inside the skin using low molecular weight hyaluronic acid and Epidermal Growth Factor.

Q

How much does a CLINICCARE Facial cost?

From £55. All current pricing is in the online booking system.

Q

How long does the treatment take?

Around one hour. This includes the skin assessment, every treatment step, and aftercare.

Q

How is it different from the Express Facial?

The Express Facial is a 30-minute condensed version using the same CLINICCARE products. The full CLINICCARE Facial includes a longer skin assessment, chemical exfoliation, a 30-minute EGF sheet mask, and targeted eye and lip care that the express version doesn't include.

Q

How often should I get a CLINICCARE Facial?

Every four to six weeks for most people. This matches your skin's natural renewal cycle. If you have specific concerns, Radina may recommend closer appointments initially then spacing out once your skin improves.

Q

Is the CLINICCARE Facial suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. Radina assesses your skin before every treatment and adjusts the approach based on your skin type and sensitivity. CLINICCARE products are formulated for professional use on all skin types.

Q

Can I wear makeup after the treatment?

It's best to avoid heavy makeup for the rest of the day after your facial. Your skin has been professionally treated and the active ingredients are still working. Let them do their job. Light mineral makeup is fine if you need it.

Q

What should I avoid before a CLINICCARE Facial?

Avoid using retinol or strong exfoliating acids for 24 to 48 hours before your appointment. Come with clean skin if possible, though Radina will cleanse your skin as part of the treatment.

Q

Is CLINICCARE vegan and cruelty-free?

Yes. CLINICCARE products are vegan friendly and not tested on animals. The formulations use natural ingredients without parabens, SLS, or artificial fragrances. It's one of the reasons Radina chose the brand. Professional-grade results from a clean ingredient profile.

Q

What is the difference between this and a facial at a spa or department store?

Product strength and depth of penetration. Spa facials use cosmetic-grade products at lower concentrations. They hydrate the surface and feel pleasant but the effects are temporary. CLINICCARE uses cosmeceutical-grade active ingredients, including low molecular weight hyaluronic acid and Epidermal Growth Factor, at concentrations that work inside the skin rather than sitting on top. The treatment follows a clinical protocol, not a relaxation script. You'll feel the difference in your skin for weeks, not hours.

Q

How soon will I see results after a CLINICCARE facial?

Immediately. Your skin will look brighter and feel smoother when you leave the salon. The deeper effects continue over the following days as the active ingredients keep working inside the skin. Full results from the EGF sheet mask take about 48 to 72 hours to peak. For lasting improvement, a course of treatments every four to six weeks builds on each session.
